Connecting to SmileBack

Overview

This article describes how to add SmileBack™, a ConnectWise solution as a datasource in BrightGauge™.

Connect to SmileBack

To connect to SmileBack:

  1. Log in to your BrightGauge account.

  2. Navigate to DATA > Datasources.

  3. Click Add a New Datasource.

  4. Click the CSAT tab.

  5. Select SmileBack.

  6. Select your SmileBack Site URL (based on your region) from the drop-down menu.

  7. Click Authorize in SmileBack.

  8. A SmileBack login window appears. Log in to SmileBack.

  9. Click Yes, authorize BrightGauge.

  10. You are returned to the Edit SmileBack page and a confirmation message appears when your account is linked.

    Tip: If you are not automatically returned, close the authorization window and refresh the page.

  11. Enter a descriptive Name for the integration. The default name is SmileBack.

  12. Click Test Connection.

  13. After a successful connection, click Save. Dashboards, reports, datasets, and gauges are added to your account after the datasource is saved. The sync usually takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

Default Resources

BrightGauge provides the following dashboards, reports, and datasets for the SmileBack datasource. For a list of default gauges, select GAUGES from the top menu bar in BrightGauge.

Default Dashboards

To locate your dashboards, select DASHBOARDS from the top menu bar. Then, click the dashboard name to open the dashboard selection menu.

  • SmileBack CSAT Last 30 Days
  • SmileBack CSAT Today
  • Technician SmileBack CSAT Last 30 Days
  • SmileBack - NPS Overview

Note: To get access to SmileBack NPS data, you must be an existing SmileBack partner and you can receive an NPS dashboard by submitting a case to BrightGauge Support.

Default Reports

To locate your reports, select REPORTS from the top menu bar.

  • SmileBack CSAT Monthly Summary
  • SmileBack CSAT Weekly Report

Default Datasets

To locate your datasets, navigate to DATA > Datasets.

Reaction Resource Pulls data for reactions for each individual resource.
Reactions Pulls data for reactions for the company as a whole.
NPS Responses Pulls data for Net Promoter Score (NPS) your business receives as a way to gauge customer feedback and overall happiness.

 

Note: To get access to SmileBack NPS data, you must be an existing SmileBack partner and you can receive an NPS dashboard by submitting a case to BrightGauge Support.
