Overview
A new integration of Acronis® Cyber Protect Cloud and BrightGauge is now available in the ConnectWise Asio™ platform. Use this integration to monitor all your essential Acronis key performance indicators (KPIs) directly in BrightGauge. Stay on top of alerts, track the protection status of every device, and keep tabs on Acronis task progress. This enables you to proactively manage your clients' Acronis backup and security, ensuring data safety and minimizing downtime risks.
Prerequisites
Important: Verify that your BrightGauge account has enough available integrations (datasources), before configuring a new integration. Limits vary depending on your plan. You can check how many integrations you have available by navigating to Data > Datasources.
To connect to an Asio integration for BrightGauge, you must first meet the following requirements:
- ConnectWise SSO must be enabled. Contact BrightGauge Support to get your account enabled with ConnectWise SSO. To see if your BrightGauge has ConnectWise SSO enabled, check in your account settings. For more information, see the BrightGauge SSO FAQs documentation.
- Asio must be provisioned to your account with all appropriate entitlements required for this feature set. To provision Asio yourself, see the Asio Self Service in Home documentation. You must have BrightGauge product entitlements.

Set Up the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Integration
To connect Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for BrightGauge, complete the following steps:
- Log into your Asio account.
- In the left navigation panel, go to Integrations > Asio Integrations.
- In the Explore Integrations pod, search for Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud.
- On the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for BrightGauge tile, click the kebab (⁝) icon, then select Integrate to open the setup wizard.

Complete the following required fields: Client ID, Client Secret, Data Center Subdomain. To edit the connection name, click the pencil icon.
Important: Review the Acronis documentation and follow the steps to create an API client to obtain these details.Note: The Data Center Subdomain field has a default value of eu8-cloud, but you can modify this as needed.
When you create your API client, the portion of the Data center URL that appears before acronis.com (highlighted in the image below) is the Data Center Subdomain.
- After entering the details, click the Generate Token button and wait a few seconds. When the token is generated, you see a Token generated successfully message on the screen.
- Click the Test Connection button. When complete, the connection state pill changes from Not Checked to Connected and a Connection established successfully message displays.
- Click the Save and Proceed button.
- On the last screen, click the Complete Setup button to finish the process and exit the setup wizard.
- Next, log into your BrightGauge account.
- Navigate to Data > Datasources in the top right corner.
- Click the Asio Integrations tab. See Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud listed to verify your integration is complete. You now have access to all the out-of-the-box metrics for the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud integration.
Important: You can only make changes to an integration (datasource) configuration in Asio. If you click the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud thumbnail in BrightGauge, you are redirected to Asio.
Tip: If you make an error or need to change any details of the integration, repeat the above process to return to the setup wizard in Asio and edit the fields as needed.
Default Dashboards
The Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud for BrightGauge integration empowers you to visualize data pertaining to alerts, the protection status of resources, and activities such as backups, anti-malware scans, vulnerability scans, etc., all available in the Acronis Resources Summary dashboard.
Default Reports
The Acronis Resources Report is included with this integration. It provides information about the number of critical alerts by tenant, tenants that have devices as critical with no policies applied, and shows alerts, resources, and activities like backups, anti-malware scans, vulnerability scans, etc.
Default Datasets
The following default datasets are provided:
- Alerts: This dataset contains summarized details for all Acronis alerts that are triggered from the different sources. All data would be available and incrementally updated every 10 mins from the Acronis console.
- Activities: This dataset contains summarized details for all Acronis activities such as backups, anti-malware scans, vulnerability scans, etc., that are triggered on different resources. All data would be available and incrementally updated every four hours from the Acronis console.
- Protection Status of Resources: This dataset contains summarized details for the overall status of resources. All data would be available and incrementally updated every four hours from the Acronis console.
Invalid Dataset Error
Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud datasets use new 2.0 datasets to function. The new 2.0 datasets work independently. Today, these datasets cannot be combined with existing datasets for creating multi-layer gauges.
