Overview
The Remote Access feature set for ConnectWise RMM™ provides the details about which endpoints were accessed remotely via ScreenConnect® Remote Access.
Requirements
If you are a ConnectWise RMM partner that uses BrightGauge and has a ConnectWise RMM integration with BrightGauge, you have access to the Remote Access dataset.
To locate your datasets, navigate to Data > Datasets. |
Default Dataset
This dataset contains details about which endpoints were accessed remotely via ScreenConnect® Remote Access. The dataset provides details about who accessed the endpoint along with reason and session details. Data is available for the last four months at a daily level. Subsequently, data is collected every 24 hours from the source, but only the last two days of data is considered and synchronized into the BrightGauge dataset.
Field Descriptions
Field Name | Description |
ID | System field. This is used for internal data organization in BrightGauge. |
Company Name | Displays the name of the company in ConnectWise Asio® as defined under Clients > Companies. |
Company Unique ID | Displays the unique ID of the company in ConnectWise Asio as defined under Clients > Companies. |
Site ID | Displays the site ID that appears in ConnectWise Asio. |
Site Name | Displays the name of the site displayed in the Name column in ConnectWise Asio > Settings > Setup > RMM, and the Site Name column in Endpoints > Devices. |
Site Name Only | Displays the name of the site in ConnectWise Asio as defined under Clients > Companies. |
System Name | Displays the name of the device in the ConnectWise Asio portal. Refers to the Name column on the ConnectWise Asio portal > Endpoints > Devices page. |
System Friendly Name | Displays the friendly name for the managed endpoint. |
Device Type | Displays the endpoint type of the managed device. |
User Name | Displays the name of the user who initiated the remote access session. |
Reason | Displays the reason why remote access session was initiated on that machine. |
Session Start Time | Displays the start time of the remote session. |
Session End Time | Displays the end time of the remote session. |
Device Timezone | Displays the time zone in which the device is located. |
Session ID | Displays the session ID of the remote access session. |
Default Gauges
These are the default gauges available on the Remote Access dataset.
Name | Description |
Remote Sessions by Company Last 30 Days | Information consolidated at Company level for all remote ScreenConnect sessions initiated by the user from the Asio portal. |

The default report generated for this dataset is Remote Access Report.
