Adding Fields to a Dataset

If you're looking for a field that isn't currently on one of our default datasets, there are still a few things we can do. Here's how the process usually works. 

API / Cloud-Based Datasources

As we are limited to the data available through the integration's API, we can't always add the field you are looking for. This being said - please send support the following:

  • a screenshot and description of the field you would like added
  • the dataset you would like the field added to
  • an example of the field being used somewhere already (like a ticket, agreement, etc.)

We'll take a look and see if it's possible to add the field from our end. If it's not, we'll pass the request over to the Integration Team as a feature request.

On-Premise Datasources 

Although it's not always guaranteed, there's a good chance we can get the data you are looking for. As all the data is available locally in your database, our SQL gurus can take a look and see if it's possible to add the field. Please send support the following:

  • a screenshot and description of the field you would like added
  • the dataset you would like the field added to
  • an example of the field being used somewhere already (like a ticket, agreement, etc.)

We'll take it from there and see if it's possible to add the field you're looking for.
