Some customers may see sporadic 403 (Forbidden) errors when the Datto RMM datasets perform a full sync. This may not have anything to do with permissions at all, but please do check your permission settings to ensure the user being used is an administrator.
Alternately, please note the Datto RMM API has request rate limits. If you have multiple vendors connecting to your Datto RMM API, the sum of requests across all vendors may exceed the Datto RMM API rate limit. Hitting this rate limit consistently will also trigger the 403 (Forbidden) error. For more information on the Datto RMM API rate limit, please visit Datto RMM API v2.
Please be aware that these errors are sporadic, and despite implementing rate limiting on the BrightGauge side, there is not much more we can do regarding this issue. It may be worth bringing this issue up with the other vendors hitting the Datto RMM API so they may implement rate limiting on their end as well. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
