How does 2FA work with BrightGauge?

BrightGauge uses Twilio to send authentication codes to users via SMS text message.

Is SMS the only option for 2FA?

Yes, at this time SMS text message is the only 2FA option.

Can 2FA be enforced?

No, 2FA is enabled on a per-user basis. Administrators cannot enable 2FA for other users; each user must enable 2FA from their user account settings.

How do I enable 2FA?

To enable 2FA:

  1. Click your account icon and select My Details.

  2. Click Two Factor Authentication.

  3. Select your Country.
  4. Enter your Phone Number.
  5. Click Enable.
