April 2023 Updates

Custom Sound Alerts on Dashboards

Custom sounds can now be uploaded and used in Number and Progress gauges under Sound & Color Thresholds. Visit our support page for step-by-step instructions on how to use custom sounds.

Parent Child Dashboards

You can set a dashboard as a child of another dashboard which will allow changes made to the parent to reflect on the child. Moving gauges or adding text or images to the parent dashboard will result in the same change on the child dashboard. 

You can change multiple dashboards by making changes only to their ‘parent’ dashboard and link one dashboard as parent to other dashboards.

March 2023 Updates

Quick Sync Datasets for PSA Cloud

Quick Sync gauges and dashboard reports are available for use with ConnectWise PSA™ (Manage) to display after new tickets are created or updated. The data in the Quick Sync gauges become available within a few minutes of creation or customer update. December 2022 Updates

New Dashboard UI

The Dashboard UI has been updated to improve the usability and clarity of the dashboards. The header for each gauge has been removed. The Gauge Menu is now always visible in the top right corner of each gauge.

November 2022 Updates

SentinelOne Integration 

With BrightGauge’s integration to SentinelOne, you can visualize information related to threats detected and agents by SentinelOne within BrightGauge, and display that information on your dashboards.

Report URL Authentication

Report URLs will be authenticated. The system will authenticate the report web link sent in an email so that the report is accessible by only the designated recipient. This would help in securing the report access and make data secure.

Parenthesis added for Calculated Metrics

You can create advanced calculations in the gauge builder by grouping formulas into one layer using parenthesis.

OAuth2.0 for Kaseya Cloud (VSA) Integration

The Kaseya Cloud (VSA) integration now uses OAuth 2.0 to connect to BrightGauge. Users must register the BrightGauge application in Kaseya VSA to generate a client ID and a client secret. For more information, please refer to Connecting to Kaseya Cloud (VSA).
