It appears the gauges layout is similar to a "flat file" layout with no kind of folder structure or tag-based structure for organization. Filters can be used, I think based on gauge names, but in order to "organize" the list of gauges, one has to develop a naming convention using acronyms and such. This apparently then propogates through to the gauge title itself, which can be very frustrating if one wishes to set something different for the presentation view of the gauge. So we need either of the two possible options:
Option 1: "Folder" organizational capabilities and/or tagging capabilities so that we do not have to rely on our own organization mechanism using the name itself
Option 2: A name alias or free form text capability in the presentation of the gauge. For example, the name might remain "RMM EDR Status Tickets Count - SDM" so that the persons managing the gauges can maintain their name-based structure for management purposes BUT in the presentation of the gauge on a dashboard, an alias or freeform, such as "EDR Status" could be configured.
Let me know if I am missing existing capabilities or if you have any questions. Thanks
