Feature Request - Backup/Recovery and Audit Logging on Reports, Dashboards, Gauges, and Goals

I am stunned that the product has zero backup/recovery capabilities and/or audit logging. I can spend hours building Dashboards, Reports or very complex Gauges and if they go poof there is no way to get them back. This toolset is an integral part of my operations and service delivery.
